The intense red eyes represent the Ohmu when angered, threatened or driven into its fearsome charging state, creating a dramatic contrast against the dark metallic armour. Crafted from solid pewter metal, the figure has a reassuring weight and exceptionally detailed construction. Its overlapping shell-like body sections are not completely rigid: the segmented areas, legs and other articulated parts can be moved gently by hand, allowing the body to curve and giving the creature a remarkably lifelike crawling appearance.

Red acrylic resin eyes add a jewel-like brilliance, while the many legs, feelers and individual armour sections reward close inspection. Made in Japan by Azui Metal Workshop and presented on a dedicated wooden base, this dramatic Red Eyes version pairs beautifully with the separately available Blue Eyes Ohmu.
