Bring the gentle sound of natural wood into your everyday life with this Totoro MOKURIN Wooden Bell, an original item from the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka, created together with Japanese woodcraft maker Oak Village.

This Zelkova Wood version features a navy blue cord and is individually handcrafted by artisans in Hida Takayama, Japan. Made from unpainted solid Japanese wood, the little Totoro produces a soft, warm “koron-koron” sound when shaken. The wood is carefully selected and shaped so that even this small piece creates a beautifully resonant natural tone.

Each MOKURIN has its own unique grain, colour and subtly different sound. As the unfinished wood is handled and enjoyed over time, it gradually develops a natural lustre and deeper character. Measuring approximately 12.5cm including the cord, it makes a charming bag accessory, wooden ornament or distinctive Ghibli Museum collectible.
